Icheon Sansuyu Village is a well-known cornelian cherry blossom destination located at 17, Wonjeok-ro 775beon-gil, Baeksa-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. The entire village is home to clusters of cornelian cherry trees that are about 100 to 500 years old. Every year, from March to early April, the yellow blossoms bloom in full and color the village in golden hues, while autumn brings a different kind of charm with red berries.

What makes the village special

• Icheon Sansuyu Village is home to about 17,000 naturally growing cornelian cherry trees across areas such as Dorip-ri, Songmal-ri, and Gyeongsa-ri. The Icheon area is considered one of the most notable cornelian cherry growing regions in Korea and is known as a herald of spring.
• At the entrance to the village, there is Sansuyu Sarangchae, a hanok stay experience, where families and groups can stay and enjoy nature at a relaxed pace.
• There is also a spacious free parking lot for more than 400 vehicles, making visits convenient.
• Walking routes such as the Sansuyu Trail and Lovers' Path are well maintained, so it is a great place to safely enjoy nature and relax with your kids.

A variety of experiences and festivals

• Every spring, the Icheon Baeksa Cornelian Cherry Blossom Festival is held, featuring a local specialty market, cornelian cherry themed craft activities such as chocolate, soap, cookies, and wood photo crafts, as well as traditional games, photo zones, and performances for the whole family to enjoy.

Tips for visiting with kids

• The walking paths and loop trails are gently sloped enough for kids to walk comfortably, and there are many spots to take photos and make special memories.
• During the festival, there are many activity booths and traditional play experiences set against the cornelian cherry blossoms, making the visit both fun and safe for kids.
• In spring, from mid-March to early April, the blossoms are at their peak and perfect for beautiful photos.
• If you are visiting with an infant, a baby carrier is more convenient than a stroller.
