About the Place

Heo Jun Theme Street is a pedestrian route in Gayang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, stretching about 300 to 500 meters from Exit 1 of Gayang Station on Subway Line 9 to the Heo Jun Museum. Designed around Heo Jun, the greatest physician of the Joseon era, and his landmark work Donguibogam, this unique walking path lets you naturally learn about health, traditional Korean medicine, and Heo Jun's story.

1. Fun characters and sculptures

   • Heo Jun character sculptures are installed throughout the street, helping keep your kids interested during the walk.
   • Various objects, including a Donguibogam book sculpture and a statue of Heo Jun, introduce health knowledge and the story of his life.

   • On the street surface, benches, and tree guards, you will find practical health tips such as rubbing your hands and pressing your eyes, or gently bringing your upper and lower teeth together often, which you can read and try with your child.
