• Jangho Fishing Village Experience Center is a fishing village experience and vacation destination located at 111 Janghohang-gil, Geundeok-myeon, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do, in the Jangho Fishermen's Welfare Center.
• It is famous for its beautiful coastline, clear emerald-colored sea, and unique rabbit-back-shaped terrain, so much so that it is called the Naples of Korea.
• It is also known as a great sunrise spot, and the neatly maintained harbor and village atmosphere are especially impressive.
• It was designated as a fishing village experience and vacation village by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2001 and offers a variety of fishing village activities.

Main experience programs

1. Transparent canoe experience

   • This popular activity lets you gently float on the clear sea in a canoe with a transparent bottom, so you can even take in the underwater scenery at a glance.
   • Families and friends can enjoy 2-person or 4-person canoes, and some canoes also have sunshades, making them great for riding with your kids.

     • 4-person transparent canoe: 44,000 won

2. Exciting snorkeling

   • A snorkeling experience where you can get up close to the clean underwater world.
   • Life jackets are required, and in a safe environment, you can observe sea creatures together with your kids.
   • Snorkeling gear can also be rented on site, and aqua shoes are recommended because there are many rocky areas by the shore.

3. Fishing boat experience

   • You can enjoy an exciting sea fishing experience on fishing boats operated directly by local fishers.

4. Various ocean activities such as catching seafood by hand and sea walking

   • Special marine experiences are also offered, such as catching fish by hand or trying sea walking on the ocean floor.

• The village has shower facilities for a fee (3,000 won, cash payment), rest areas with table or platform rentals, and parasols, making it easy to relax by the sea.
• There are many guesthouses, pensions, and popular local restaurants nearby run by the fishing village association and residents, including seafood restaurants and raw fish centers, so it is also recommended for an overnight trip.
