About the village and location

• Located at 30 Naepo 1-gil, Sinni-myeon, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, Gindeul Experience Village is a beautiful rural experience village set in the middle of wide rice fields and open farmland.
• Surrounded by broad natural scenery, you can fully enjoy the fresh air and green fields, making it a special outing for both your kids and the whole family.

What makes this village special

• Gindeul Village is also widely known as Popcorn Village.
• About 150 village residents work together to carefully grow healthy agricultural products, and the area is rich in local specialties such as popcorn corn, apples, and mushrooms.
• The village is also proud of a variety of premium farm products, including Misojin rice, which received a Presidential Award.
• It has been recognized for its excellent programs and operations to the point of being designated as a top village by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

• Popcorn-making experience
  Using domestically grown Non-GMO popcorn corn cultivated in the village, you and your kids can make fun and delicious popcorn together.
  One of the signature activities is the village's patented apple fermented popcorn-making experience.

• Various popcorn experiences
  In addition to apple popcorn, you can also make and taste unique flavors such as chili popcorn, peach popcorn, milk popcorn, and butter popcorn.

• Rural harvesting and cooking experiences
  Depending on the season, you can enjoy different harvest experiences such as digging potatoes and picking corn. Kids can also discover the value of rural life and the wonder of nature through cooking and food-making activities like apple pizza and magnolia flower tea.

Operation and reservation information

• Reservations are required for experience programs and lodging, and tailored experiences are available for families, kindergartens, schools, and other groups.
• The required number of participants differs by program, so please check in advance before booking.
• The basic rule is to book at least 1 day in advance, but in some cases same-day reservations may also be available, so if you could not book ahead, please call before visiting.
• Parents or guardians can also participate together with their kids.
