What is Old Future?

Old Future is a cozy and unique cultural space tucked along a quiet alley in Myeoncheon-myeon, Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Once a bicycle repair shop, this place still preserves the traces of time, while being reborn with a refined interior and a fresh new sensibility. With the past and present blending together naturally, it is a lovely place to walk slowly, stay awhile, rest, and make memories with your child.

• The first floor is a relaxing space with books, filled with a warm atmosphere and a variety of titles.
• The second floor is a multi-purpose cultural space where you can read or have quiet conversations with family and friends. Small exhibitions or hands-on programs are sometimes held here as well.
• Inside, retro charm and modern style come together to create a calm feeling, as if time moves a little more slowly.
• Throughout the bookstore, artworks and decorations by local artists are on display, giving you and your child plenty to enjoy together.
• On the second floor, there is an Anne of Green Gables themed space that is great for reading and taking photos with your child.
