What kind of place is Hanjung Cultural Center?

Hanjung Cultural Center is a unique cultural space located at the entrance to Incheon Chinatown, where you can explore the diverse history and cultures of Korea and China at a glance. Its striking Chinese-style architecture stands out, and it is loved as a family outing destination filled with exhibitions, hands-on activities, and performances.

Main facilities and floor guide

1. 1st floor - Gallery and information desk

   • Art exhibitions with a variety of themes are held here, so you can enjoy both art appreciation and cultural experiences.
   • Visitor information and a place to take a short break are available.

2. 2nd floor - Korea-China Culture Exhibition Hall

   • Exhibits introduce Chinese history, culture, economy, and everyday social life.
   • You can also see artifacts related to cultural exchange between Korea and China.

3. 3rd floor - Friendship Cities Promotion Hall

   • Materials and donated items from Chinese friendship cities are on display.
   • There is also an experience space where you can make special memories with your kids through activities such as trying on traditional Chinese clothing, qipao, and playing traditional games such as tangram.
     (Group activities require advance reservation)

4. 4th floor - Performance hall

   • This 200-seat performance hall hosts artistic performances, cultural events, seminars, and more.

5. Annex - Incheon Overseas Chinese History Museum

   • Exhibits continue with the history of the Overseas Chinese who settled in Incheon, along with artifacts they actually used.
   • It is connected to the 2nd floor of the main building, making it easy to visit together.

• Closed: Mondays, the following day if Monday is a public holiday, January 1, and Lunar New Year and Chuseok holiday periods

• Rather than buying an individual admission ticket, we recommend purchasing the integrated exhibition pass for 5 museums. If you buy the integrated pass, you will receive a pamphlet for a stamp tour, which makes the visit even more exciting for your kids. (They are all within walking distance.)
• If you would like to try the traditional clothing experience or group play activities, booking in advance can help you make the most of your visit.
