Located at 18 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Hansik Culture Space Ieum is an experiential cultural space where visitors of all ages can fully experience the charm and traditions of Korean food. Operated by the Korean Food Promotion Institute, it is easy to visit comfortably because both admission and library use are free.

Through a variety of exhibitions, it introduces the cultural value and stories of Korean food in a fun and easy-to-understand way. Special exhibitions are held year-round, so you can explore the origins and cooking methods of Korean food visually with your kids.Hansik Learning Center & Ieum Studio
Cooking classes are held where you can make and taste Korean dishes yourself using seasonal ingredients and traditional fermented foods. Programs are available for a wide range of ages, from cooking experiences for elementary school students to family groups and foreign visitors. With about 2,500 Korean food-related books from Korea and abroad, as well as children's and general books, this is a comfortable place to browse a variety of food-related storybooks and comics with your child. The library has many books related to Korean food and food culture, and the children's section especially includes many books that are not easy to find elsewhere. Borrowing is not available, and books may only be read inside the library.
