What kind of place is Sodol Beach?

Sodol Beach is a small, peaceful beach located near Sodol Port at 1961-2 Haean-ro, Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. It is about 1.5 km north of Jumunjin, and its name comes from the shape of the village, which is said to look like a cow lying down.

The oval white sand beach, 500 m long and covering 35,000 square meters, has fine sand, a gentle slope, and shallow water, making it very safe and comfortable for visiting with your kids. Along the shore, you will find rocks of many sizes, including Adeulbawi Rock, which resembles a cow, so your family can also enjoy a fun and curious rock exploration.
