Overview

Eulwangri Beach is located at 16-15 Yongyuseo-ro 302beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon, and is one of the representative West Coast beaches with excellent access from the Seoul metropolitan area. It features a wide white sandy beach about 700 m long, gently curved like a crescent moon, along with dense pine forests and striking rock formations that create a spectacular view. It is a popular destination well suited for group outings, family trips, and nature experiences with children, and it has been continuously loved since being designated a National Tourist Site in 1986.

Key features and things to enjoy

• Wide and gently sloping sandy beach
  With a white sandy beach stretching about 700 m and an average water depth of 1.5 m, even children can enjoy sand play and splashing in the sea relatively safely. At low tide, up to 200 m of sandy flats are revealed, making it possible to try clam catching and crab catching.

• Beautiful scenery
  Known as one of the best sunset spots on the West Coast, the sight of the sea turning red at sunset can become a special memory with your child. The rock formations and pine forest spread out on both sides also serve as a natural learning space.

• Variety of activity programs
  There are various water leisure activities such as banana boats and jet skis, and sea fishing is also possible. Behind the sandy beach, you will find a large lawn, a student campsite, a training center, and other experience and educational facilities.

• Convenience facilities
  There are showers, changing rooms, and restrooms. Free use of the Eulwangri temporary public parking lot is available, but parking spaces may be limited during peak season.

• Open year-round at all times
  You can enjoy different scenery in every season regardless of the time of year. In summer, it is great for swimming; in spring and autumn, for walks and nature observation; and in winter, it becomes a quiet place to relax.

Directions and transportation

• By car
  It is convenient to enter "Eulwangri Beach" or "16-15 Yongyuseo-ro 302beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon" into your navigation app. On weekends or during peak season, parking can be crowded, so it is recommended to arrive with extra time.

• Public transportation
  From Incheon International Airport, take bus 302 or 306 and get off at the "Eulwangri Beach" stop, and you can arrive right away. Bus 306 also runs from Dongincheon Station, making the beach easy to reach.

• Use of the sandy beach and facilities is free.
• Stroller rental is not provided, so please prepare one in advance if needed.
