Parenting Tips for Seoul Grand Park Campsite
- Tents are already set up in the campsite, so you can enjoy camping without any personal camping equipment. (Bringing personal tents is not allowed)
- There is a parking lot right in front of the campsite, but parking spaces may be insufficient on weekends or holidays.
- If there is no parking space, park in the Seoul Grand Park parking lot and call the camping site office to have your luggage moved by electric cart. The electric cart usage fee is 13,000 KRW, payable only by cash or bank transfer.
- Reservations for the campsite can be made on the website and open at 2 PM on the 15th of each month.
- It is difficult to make reservations on weekends, but cancellations happen frequently, so it's good to watch for cancellation slots.
- The valley running through the center of the campsite is shallow, only reaching children's calves, so it is not deep enough for tube play.
- The Adventure Playground includes play equipment like slides, rope bridges, and swings, and has a sand play area where it is good to bring sand play toys.
- There is a shower room with hot water, but you need to bring your own shower items.
- Overnight stay is possible, but since it is located in the forest, it gets cold at night, so bringing a personal blanket or renting blankets or sleeping bags from the store is recommended.
- The store closes at 8:30 PM, so rent or purchase what you need before then.
- Each site has an electrical outlet with a capacity of 600W or less, so you can bring an electric grill to simply grill meat.
- Next to the valley, there is a same-day picnic zone where you can only rent a shade tent and table.
- The cost difference between the picnic zone and standard shade tent rental is not large, so for families with young babies, it is recommended to rent a tent even for a day-camping.
