• Ttangkkeut Observatory is located at the top of Sajabong Peak on Galdusan Mountain (156 m above sea level) and features a unique torch-shaped structure that reflects the symbolism of the land's end of the Korean Peninsula.
• From the open observatory, you can see large and small islands such as Jindo and Wando spread out before you, and on clear days, you can even see Hallasan on Jeju Island at a glance.

• Walking up from the parking lot along the trail and stairs, about 200 m, is recommended if you want to move slowly with your kids while enjoying nature.
• You can also walk to the observatory along the coastal trail while stopping by sights such as Ttangkkeut Tower and the skywalk.
• If you take the monorail up, you can enjoy the scenery conveniently without much effort.

• Parking is free, and there are clean restrooms.
• Around the monorail station, there is a shop selling local Haenam specialties and a waiting area where you can take a short break and buy snacks.
• There is a view cafe on the third floor of Ttangkkeut Observatory, and to reach Ttangkkeut Tower, you need to go down for about 7 minutes from the observatory, with many steep stairs along the way.
• It is better to walk from the parking lot along the deck path.
