The Temple Stay Information Center is a Buddhist traditional culture experience space located at 56 Ujeongguk-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, near Insadong and Jogyesa Temple. It is open not only to local visitors but also to international guests, and provides a wide range of information on Buddhist culture and temple food. It is especially recommended for families who may feel that temple experiences are hard to approach, as it is a place you can visit comfortably with your child.

Main experience programs

• Tea talk with a monk
  • Share a cup of tea with a monk and enjoy a peaceful break from everyday life. This program runs free of charge on selected days of the week.
• Making a Buddhist prayer bead bracelet
  • You can string the beads yourself and make your own Buddhist prayer bead bracelet. It is a quiet, focused activity to enjoy with your child, helping build fine motor skills while creating a meaningful memory together. This program takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays.
• Lantern making, traditional pattern coloring, and more
  • A variety of traditional craft experiences are available, and programs are offered depending on the situation.
