• Jara Island is an island on the Bukhangang River, located at 1-1 Daljeon-ri, Gapyeong-eup, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. It was naturally formed in 1943 when Cheongpyeong Dam was completed.
• It was originally called "Jungguk Island," but from 1986 it came to be known by the modern name "Jara Island," as it faces a hill shaped like a turtle and Jarasan Mountain across the river.
• Its area is about 657,900 square meters, making it 1.5 times the size of Nami Island, and it is made up of four main zones: East Island, West Island, Middle Island, and South Island.

• The Jara Island suspension bridge is a 165-meter-long bridge connecting West Island and the riverside area of Gapyeong-eup, offering an experience that feels like walking in the sky with your child.
• It is wide and does not sway too much, so you can use it safely.
