Located at 397-13 Okjeong-ro, Yangju, 'Yangju Smart Green Port' is a special space where children and families can enjoy a variety of environmental experiences and educational activities as a key hub for a future eco-friendly city. Here, you can easily learn about and explore environmental issues such as fine dust, climate change, and carbon neutrality through immersive content, hands-on activities, and educational programs.

Key features and experience highlights

• It is a standalone building next to the public parking lot of the Hoecheon 4-dong Administrative Welfare Center. The first floor is an electric vehicle charging station, and the experience space is on the second floor.
• Through large displays and immersive media, you can easily check Yangju's fine dust levels, wind corridor information, and environmental data.
• By touching the screens yourself, you can explore various atmospheric information and simulations, including wind corridor analysis simulations and fine dust analysis.
• Using 'HoloLens 2,' you can enjoy a hologram AR augmented reality experience, manipulating virtual objects that appear right in front of you with your hands while completing environmental missions.
• Through virtual reality experiences such as the metaverse and metahumans, you can directly experience Yangju's environmental protection activities and changes in the city.
• Programs such as DIY experience kits are also available, helping your kids build curiosity and creativity through making and learning.
• XR experiences are recommended for children ages 8 and up due to the physical requirements of wearing the equipment, while metaverse virtual experiences are recommended for younger children.
• In the education room, environmental education and hands-on activities for various age groups are held regularly.
• Individual visitors can drop in freely at any time, and you can enjoy metaverse virtual exhibitions, hologram AR, XR experiences, and more for free.
