Located on Hyangsu-gil in Okcheon-eup, Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, Okcheon Traditional Culture Experience Center is a wonderful place to visit where you can easily and enjoyably experience Korea's traditional culture surrounded by beautiful hanok buildings, a wide courtyard, and abundant nature. Since opening in 2020, it has steadily been loved by children, families, and travelers alike.

Main Facilities and Spaces

• Hanok lodging: Available in 4-person and 8-person rooms, with rates of 50,000 won on weekdays / 70,000 won on weekends for a 4-person room, and 90,000 won on weekdays / 140,000 won on weekends for an 8-person room. Okcheon-gun residents receive a 30% discount on stays.
• Various buildings, including an exhibition hall, experience hall, and community center, come together to offer themed experiences, relaxation, and learning.
• The large grassy yard is equipped with benches, swings, and traditional play equipment, so kids can run around and play freely.

Experience Programs to Enjoy with Your Kids

• Various craft experiences: Kids can easily try hands-on traditional crafts such as minhwa coloring, clay play, knot bracelets, and total crafts.
• Food-making experiences: You can make healthy traditional snacks such as mugwort rice cakes, oranda gangjeong, and perilla seed gangjeong.
• Tea ceremony experience: You can also enjoy a calm moment while learning about tea culture.
• Traditional play yard: A variety of traditional play equipment is prepared, including yutnori, spinning tops, jegichagi, tuho, swings, and neolttwigi, so you can experience old-style games with your children.

Visitor Information

• Experience programs operate from Tuesday to Sunday, and some activities require a small materials fee of 1,000 won to 30,000 won.
• With a spacious parking lot, walking paths, and cozy lodging spaces, this is a great place to quietly enjoy both nature and culture with your kids.
• The exhibition hall and experience hall are open from 10:00 to 17:00, and last entry is at 16:30.
