Sapgyoho Maritime Theme Experience Center

Sapgyoho Marine Theme Experience Center

This is a place where you can explore the history and culture of the Navy and Marine Corps with your child through hands-on experiences. Because the space makes use of a real warship, it offers a unique kind of fun, and with interactive elements throughout, your child is less likely to get bored while looking around.

Highlights for visiting with kids

• You can see both the actual ship park and the marine theme experience center together, so there is plenty to explore.
• There are many areas where kids can try activities themselves or join in like a game, making it fun to take your time as you look around.
• The shark cage experience is also available, but the inner part of the building is somewhat dark and may surprise some children, so it helps to let them know in advance.

Kid-friendly facilities

• Nursing room, diaper changing station, and parking are available.
• However, stroller rental is not available, and using a stroller can be inconvenient when moving indoors or touring inside the ship, so it is a good idea to bring a baby carrier.
• When entering the ship, you will need to leave your stroller outside.

Good to know before your visit

• For the combined ticket, the admission fee is 10,000 won for adults / 9,000 won for children / 7,000 won for discounted admission.
• When you purchase an admission ticket, you can receive 3,000 won in Dangjin Love Gift Certificates, and a Dangjin resident discount also applies.
• Free parking is available near the Sapgyoho Hoe Center or the ship park.

Recommended for these families
