Insadong Information Center is a traditional culture experience space with excellent accessibility, located near the Seoinsa Madang Public Parking Lot at 19, Insadong 11-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is a place where the whole family can easily and enjoyably experience Korean history, traditions, and culture, and it is especially great to visit with children.

What can you experience here?

• Insadong Information Center introduces the traditions and culture of Insadong to visitors from Korea and abroad, and offers a variety of experiences and information so they can understand them easily and enjoyably.
• Along with tourist information and interpretation services, there is also a hanbok experience that children especially love. Hanbok in various sizes, hair accessories, and shoes are prepared, so the whole family can dress in traditional clothing and take memorable photos. However, boys' hanbok are not provided, so it is a good idea to bring one separately if needed. There are also adult hanbok available, so family photos are highly recommended.
• There are also exhibition spaces introducing Insadong's traditional master shops, photo zones, and an internet access area. You can create memorable moments against the beautiful backdrop of a traditional hanok.

• The hanok building where Insadong Information Center is located was built on the site of Sadonggung, once the private residence of Prince Uichin, son of Emperor Gojong, giving it special historical significance.
• The friendly staff welcome visitors, and you can receive tourist maps for both Insadong and all of Seoul, as well as free guidebooks, making it a perfect starting point for your trip.
• Nearby, you will find many attractions that both children and families can enjoy, including Insadong Ssamziegil, traditional tea houses, craft shops, and art galleries.

Operating information and tips

1. For parking, you can use the nearby Seoinsa Madang Public Parking Lot, making visits by car convenient as well.
2. The hanbok experience is offered at a relatively affordable cost of 3,000 won and is available for 20 minutes. The experience runs on a reservation system, and you must arrive by 17:00 to participate. Operating hours are 10:00 to 17:30, and the break time is 12:00 to 13:00.
3. Services for international visitors, such as foreign language assistance and brochures, are also well provided.
