Parenting Tips for Paper Museum
- It's a place where you can see various exhibition works made of paper.
- The museum itself is not large, so it might be somewhat disappointing if you visit just for viewing purposes.
- As of October 2023, the 'Paper Playground' on the 1st floor is closed.
- You can buy 'origami books and colored paper' at the Paper Museum on the 2nd floor.
- Right next to the entrance, there's a space where you can 'make and hang origami on a tree'.
- 'Saturday Experience' is conducted in small groups of up to 6 people, with a kind guide from museum docents and other instructors.
- In the 'Saturday Experience', you can learn the hanji making process and 'make hanji yourself'. You can take the hanji you made home as a souvenir.
- Participants in the experience can receive a 'small souvenir' such as colored paper and glue.
- The age for participation is '7 years and older'.
- Children interested in origami can apply for the 'K-Origami Level Application', available sequentially from level 3 to level 1.
- The women's restroom on the 2nd floor can be used with young boys.
- There are 'some areas inside the museum where photography is not allowed'.
- Parking is not available in the building, but you can use the 'Jangchung Church parking lot' at the back, although the parking fee is very expensive at 4,000 KRW per hour. Therefore, public transportation or walking is recommended.
