Yangpyeong Eco-Friendly Agriculture Museum is located on Yongmunsan-ro in Yongmun-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, and is a special place where you can easily and enjoyably explore nature, agriculture, and local history with your kids.

Museum Highlights and Exhibition Layout

• Opened in 2007, this museum introduces Yangpyeong, Korea's first eco-friendly agriculture special district, along with its safe food culture and environmentally friendly farming methods.
• The permanent exhibition is divided into two main sections.
  • Yangpyeong History Hall: You can explore the history and culture of Yangpyeong from prehistoric times to the present through a variety of artifacts and materials.
  • Eco-Friendly Agriculture Hall: This section explains the importance of agriculture and the meaning of eco-friendly farming, with real farming tools and hands-on devices that make it easy for children to understand.
• The Special Exhibition Hall and Gallery Miji host a variety of exhibitions and cultural events by season or special theme.

• The museum offers a variety of hands-on programs that are great for families to enjoy together.
  • Tea ceremony experience (free): Hours 11:00 to 16:00, lunch break 12:00 to 13:00

Visitor Information and Amenities

• Admission: Free, but since the museum is located inside the Yongmunsan Tourist Complex, parking fees and the tourist complex entrance fee may apply separately.
• Hours:
  • Summer season March to October: 09:30 to 18:00 (last admission 17:30)
  • Winter season November to February: 09:30 to 17:00 (last admission 16:30)
• Closed: Every Monday, January 1, Seollal and Chuseok on the day itself (if Monday is a public holiday, closed the following day instead)
• Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, elevator available (stroller rental not available)
• Parking: The museum does not have its own parking lot. Please use the Yongmunsan Tourist Site Public Parking Lot (paid). It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot.

• Nearby, you will also find natural attractions such as Yongmunsa Temple, Yongmunsan Mountain, and beautiful walking trails, making this a great family outing destination.
• More than 70 percent of the museum's collection was voluntarily donated by Yangpyeong residents, so you can also feel the warmth of the local community.
• If you complete the activity sheet before entering the museum, you will receive a small gift.
