Lee Jaehyo Gallery is a special art space located in a quiet rural village in Jipyeong-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. It was personally designed by world-renowned sculptor and installation artist Lee Jaehyo, bringing together exhibition halls that fully reflect his artistic vision, along with his studio and a cafe.

Layout and highlights

• The gallery consists of 5 exhibition halls, where you will find works of various sizes and concepts in each space.
• Personally designed by the artist and carefully completed over 1 and a half years, this space includes not only exhibition areas but also a studio and actual living space, allowing you to sense traces of the artist's life as well.
• Sculptural works made with a variety of materials that are easily found in nature, such as wood, stone, iron, fallen leaves, and nails, are on display.
• Most of the works feature natural forms and the beauty of repetition, such as spheres, cylinders, tunnels, and circles, creating a uniquely moving experience.
• At the cafe inside the gallery, you can enjoy the lingering feeling of your visit with a drink included with the ticket.

Tips for your visit

1. The ticket office and cafe are located on the second floor, and a drink is provided when you purchase a ticket. If you would like to use the cafe as well, you must choose a ticket that includes a drink at the time of purchase. If you buy only admission, you cannot purchase a drink afterward.
2. If you would like to explore all 5 exhibition halls at a relaxed pace, we recommend allowing at least 1 hour for your visit.
3. Because it is located in a quiet rural village, you can step away from the bustle of the city and enjoy a sense of calm.
4. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the artist at work or see part of the artist's daily life.
5. If you arrive after 16:00, only admission without a drink is available.
