• On the first floor, you will find the lobby, information desk, lounge, and experience education room, while the second floor features spaces dedicated to full-scale hands-on experiences and education.

  • You can learn essential everyday safety information such as gas safety classes, basic gas knowledge, and emergency response tips for gas leaks through intuitive graphics and interactive content.
  • In areas such as Gas Safety Reminder and Gas Safety Chamber, you can also look for real-life risk factors and learn how to prevent accidents.
• Hydrogen Safety Promotion Hall
  • You can explore topics such as hydrogen's eco-friendliness, safety, and potential as a future energy source through videos, exhibits, and a variety of models.
  • The space is designed so you can directly observe and indirectly experience safety devices used in real life, such as the safety of hydrogen storage containers and safety technologies at charging stations.
  • You can also imagine what a hydrogen society in 2050 might look like and learn about the meaning of the hydrogen economy, international trends, and ways to respond to climate change.
• 4D Theater
  • Children and teens especially enjoy the vivid 4D films showing Earth's climate change, a future energy society, and cities powered by hydrogen.

Visitor information and helpful tips

• Hydrogen Safety Museum consists of the Gas Safety Experience Hall, the Hydrogen Safety Promotion Hall, and the 4D Theater.
• With engaging programs, your kids can have fun while building their understanding of hydrogen.
• Admission is free, and the museum is closed every Monday and Sunday, as well as on January 1 and during Lunar New Year and Chuseok holiday periods. It is open on public holidays.
• Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (break time from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM)
• You must arrive at least 10 minutes before the experience begins, and you need to check in at the information desk.
• You can watch videos about hydrogen in the waiting area.
• A hydrogen science lab and a hydrogen playground have been newly added, and advance reservation is required for the hydrogen science lab, so please reserve it together when booking a docent tour.
• Since you cannot leave during the viewing, it is recommended that you use the restroom before entering.
• In the 4D Theater, the seats shake strongly along with wind effects during the screening, so if you feel dizzy, please raise your hand and let the staff know.
• If you join the docent program with explanations from a guide, it is easier to understand and you can enjoy your visit even more.
• For the docent program, you must make a reservation in advance through the website before visiting.
• On the day of your visit, Hydrogen Safety Museum may call to confirm changes in visitor numbers or visit details, so please make sure to answer the phone.
• On the first floor, there is a family restroom, nursing room, stroller rental, and lockers.
• There is a dedicated parking lot, and parking is free.
