What is the Hantangang World Geopark Center?
Located at 55 Bidulginang-gil, Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, the Hantangang World Geopark Center is Korea's first and only museum dedicated to geoparks. With the mysterious nature and history of the Hantangang River as its theme, it is a place where families and children can easily and enjoyably experience and learn about geology, history, ecology, and culture.

- The Hantangang World Geopark Center opened in April 2019, and features exhibition and hands-on spaces centered on the formation process and geological characteristics of the Hantangang River, as well as the lives of the people who have lived in this region.
- You can explore the Hantangang River's unique landforms and beautiful natural scenery, including basalt cliffs, columnar joints, and waterfalls formed by volcanic eruptions around 54,000 to 120,000 years ago, through a variety of exhibitions and hands-on experiences.
- Inside the center, you will find a wide range of facilities, including exhibition halls, a digital experience hall, a children's playground, outdoor sculptures, an auditorium, multipurpose meeting rooms, a restaurant, a cafeteria, and a gift shop, making your visit comfortable and convenient.
