A place to enjoy books and culture with your child, Arirang Library

Arirang Library is located at 82 Arirang-ro, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, and offers a comfortable space where local residents and children can freely explore books and enjoy a variety of cultural activities. As one of the Seongbuk-gu public libraries, it has general reading rooms across the second and third floors.

Hours and closed days

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Regular closed days: The second and fourth Monday of each month, and public holidays excluding Sundays

Spaces and facilities

• The general reading rooms on the second and third floors are stocked with books and materials from a wide range of fields.
• On each floor, sections are color-coded by topic, so you can easily find the books you want.
• Bookshelves, desks, and charming reading corners are set up throughout the library, making it a great place to read with your child or do some light studying.
• There are also periodicals corners on each floor, with guide materials available, making it convenient to browse magazines and newspapers.

• Parking is available at the Cinema Town Building at 4 Arirang-ro 12-gil, and 1 hour of free parking is provided when you use the library.
• As the library does not have many reading seats, visiting on a quiet weekday or earlier in the day is recommended.
• The library is decorated in a cute and cozy way throughout, making it especially lovely for a reading outing with your child.
