National Gimhae Museum is located at 190 Gayaui-gil, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, and is a leading historical and cultural destination where you can experience the history and culture of the ancient state of Gaya at a glance. Since opening in 1998, it has been presenting Gaya artifacts and ruins in a systematic and engaging way, and it has continued to be loved by families.

Main Features and Highlights

1. A focused look at the history and culture of Gaya

   • In the permanent exhibition , you can see the nation's largest collection of Gaya ruins and artifacts, including the founding and growth of Gaya, everyday life, distinctive pottery and accessories, and relics symbolizing the kingdom of iron.
   • The exhibition is organized by theme so that children can understand it easily, helping them naturally learn about the kingdoms of Gaya and the lives of people from that era.
   • Rare artifacts designated as treasures are also on display, allowing you to directly feel the mystery of ancient Korean history.

2. Special exhibitions and hands-on programs

   • Different special exhibitions are prepared each season, so every visit can offer something new.
   • There are also experiential programs where you and your child can join exhibition commentary together, allowing you to actively engage with history beyond simple viewing.

   • In addition to clean and spacious exhibition halls, there are rest areas such as a cafe, making it a great destination for an outing with your child.

• Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit: Get off at Museum Station (about 8 minutes on foot)
• City bus: Several routes stop at bus stops near the museum
• If you are coming by car, you can use the dedicated parking lot.
