What is the Nexon Computer Museum?

The Nexon Computer Museum is Korea's first computer museum and the only computer-focused exhibition space in Asia registered with the International Council of Museums. Founded in Jeju by the global game company Nexon, it lets you explore the history of computers and games through engaging exhibits and hands-on experiences. For more than 10 years since opening, it has been loved by both kids and adults across the country, with a collection of more than 16,000 items and a wide range of interactive activities.

Main Exhibits and Experiences

• Experience the history of computers

  • You can see a variety of historic devices up close, including the early Apple 1 (APPLE1) created by Steve Jobs, along with keyboards, monitors, and other iconic machines from different eras.
  • Retro computers such as the Apple iMac G3, typewriters, and computer peripherals that defined different generations are on display, so your kids can naturally discover how technology has changed by seeing and touching them in person.

• The past and present of games

  • From classic arcade machines to the latest VR games, you can try a wide range of games that appeal to different generations and interests.
  • In the arcade-style space, parents and children can enjoy playing together and build a sense of connection across generations.

• Experience programs

  • Manjijak Program: This is an educational hands-on making activity for children ages 7 and up. By creating digital kits such as optical mice, solar-powered toys, and tilt sensors, kids can learn the principles behind digital devices.
  • Memex: An interactive museum quest kit that guides you through challenges by following invisible signals (sold separately).

  • Closed every Monday, and on Lunar New Year and Chuseok day

• Admission and reservations

  • Advance reservation is required through the official website, but walk-in visits may be possible depending on on-site conditions.

• Admission fees

  • Adults: 8,000 won, Teens: 7,000 won, Children: 6,000 won (free for children under 36 months)
  • Giga Ticket Mega Ticket + Memex or Gift Pack: Mega Ticket + 5,000 won
  • Separate discounts are available for Jeju residents, visitors ages 65 and older, and people with disabilities, and some experiences require additional fees.

  • Free parking available, lockers provided, and a cafe and souvenir shop on Basement Level 1 of the museum
