About the place

• Incheon Unification Center is a special exhibition and hands-on experience space located at 84 Subongangil, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, inside the Korea Freedom Federation.
• Opened in December 1994, it is the only place in the Incheon area where you can explore the reality of the division between North and South Korea and the future of reunification through a variety of exhibitions and experiences.

• It consists of a first-floor exhibition hall, a second-floor audiovisual room and archive room, and a third-floor multipurpose meeting room.
• When you visit with your child, you can follow the exhibits in order, from the history and pain of the division between North and South Korea to the path toward peace and the many efforts made for reunification.
• A wide range of content is prepared, including photo materials, stories of displaced people and separated families, and exhibitions of North Korean cultural heritage and everyday items.
• There are also interactive exhibits, such as kiosks where you can learn about language differences between North and South Korea through OX-style quizzes, making it easy and fun for children to understand both cultures.
• With a group reservation, you can also watch a North Korean film for groups of 20 people or more.

• It is about a 15-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jemulpo Station on Subway Line 1, and you can also get there by several bus routes.

• Ongoing hands-on programs such as coloring, making pin buttons, and writing four-line poems are available, and they are great to try with children.
• The exhibition hall is on the smaller side, so you can look around fairly quickly, and the nearby walking trails are well maintained, making them nice for cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall.
• There is a slow mailbox, so if you write a letter, it will arrive 6 months later.
• Parking is available at the entrance to Subong Park.
