Located at 173 Wolgye-ro, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, Dream Forest is one of Seoul's most notable large green parks. Built on the former site of Dreamland, it is a space that represents northern Seoul with a blend of nature, culture, and relaxation, featuring wide lawns, walking trails, an outdoor performance venue, an art museum, and more.

The park's signature attraction is its observatory, which stands 49.7 meters tall. It offers a special experience where you and your kids can take in sweeping views of Seoul's sky, mountains, and cityscape all at once.

Observatory Features

• From the top of this 49.7-meter-tall, three-story structure, you can enjoy open views of Seoul's famous mountains, including Bukhansan, Dobongsan, Suraksan, and Buramsan, as well as Namsan and the Han River.
• It connects naturally with the walking paths, and you can also drive close to the observatory and park nearby using the paid parking lot.
• There is a monorail-like elevator to the observatory, making it easy for children and older visitors to go up without difficulty. Since it is made of glass, you can also enjoy views of the park while riding it.
• The observatory hall cafe is permanently closed and access is restricted.

Visitor Information

• Hours: Closed on Mondays, open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00
• Admission: Free admission, parking available for a fee
• Strollers and wheelchairs: There is an accessible elevator, but some scenic forest walking paths may be steep, so extra caution is needed for older visitors or when using a stroller.
• Parking: You can use the West Gate or East Gate parking lots. The West Gate lot is closer if you want easier access to the observatory. However, the East Gate lot is larger, and both can get crowded on weekends and public holidays, so public transportation is recommended.
