What is Sahwa Park Adventure Experience Zone?

Sahwa Park Adventure Experience Zone is an experiential play space located at 74 Jungdongnam-ro, Uichang-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, where children can run and play freely in the middle of the city. Making use of the terrain of the former 39th Division basic physical training ground, it offers a nature-friendly adventure space unlike a typical playground, creating a special kind of fun.

Main play facilities and experiences

• Trampoline experience play: Kids can jump and play freely on in-ground trampolines.
• Adventure net: A large net structure installed above ground where kids can move around and enjoy an adventurous play experience.
• Slope experience play: A dynamic play facility that makes use of the natural hillside slope.
• Zipline experience play: A short but thrilling zipline designed for children.
• Forest fortress experience play: Kids can climb up and down fortress-style walls and enjoy an adventurous challenge.
• Mini rock climbing experience play: A small climbing wall is available to help build strength and a spirit of challenge.

There are also various other nature-friendly playground features where children can freely enjoy adventures while building confidence and physical strength.

Visitor information

• Operating hours are divided into summer season (April to October) and winter season (November to March), with 4 sessions per day.
• It is closed every Monday, on rainy days, during typhoons, snowfall, and on the day of Lunar New Year and Chuseok.
• Admission is free.
• The zipline is available only for children weighing between 25 kg and 40 kg, and each person may use it up to 3 times.
• Up to 200 people are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis for each session.

Amenities and important notes

• A parking lot is available, making it convenient to visit by car. However, vehicles taller than 2 m may have difficulty entering.
• Outside food is not allowed inside the experience zone, and only water and drinks are permitted.
• There is a restroom at Sahwa Madang, and the wide plaza is a good spot for riding kick scooters.
• Since there are many sloped areas and active play facilities, non-slip sneakers are recommended.
• Because the structure may feel somewhat challenging for very young children, it is better suited for children ages 6 and up / 7 and up.
• Careful supervision by a guardian is needed.
