What is Baegot Saengmyeong Park?

Baegot Saengmyeong Park is a modern ecological park located on Baegot 2-ro in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do. Created in 2015 under the slogan "A city embracing life," it offers a harmonious space where nature and people come together, with an environment where you can encounter a variety of plants and animals.

Main facilities and highlights

1. The spacious lawn area, "Pureun Ddeurak"
   • This is a great spot for families to lay out a picnic mat and enjoy a picnic.
   • With a gentle sea breeze, it also gives your kids plenty of room to run around.
2. Galdaerang-gil & Yeoulmot
   • As you walk along the trail, you can enjoy reed fields and views of the West Sea.
   • Yeoulmot is an ecological pond where seawater and freshwater meet, allowing you to observe a variety of plants and animals up close.
3. Haneulmaru Observatory
   • Climb the wooden deck and stairs, and you will reach an observatory with sweeping views of the West Sea and the entire park.
   • At sunset, you can enjoy beautiful evening skies, making it a popular spot for family photos.
4. Doran Ddeul Family Picnic Area
   • With shaded rest areas, benches, and tables, this is an ideal place for a family outing.
5. Saengmyeong Geuru and the ground fountain
   • At the center of the park, there is a four-season themed fountain and a cooling mist system, so your kids can stay cool and play comfortably even on hot days.
   • At night, the lights turn on to create a magical atmosphere.
