- The museum is connected by a pedestrian overpass to the Saemangeum Promotional Hall across the road, so it's convenient to visit both. Be careful, though: the overpass is locked after closing time, which may make it difficult to get back to each parking lot.
- There are free storage lockers next to the information desk, and you can borrow a wheelchair or stroller for free.
- Food and drinks may not be brought in. There is no separate shop, but there are snack and drink vending machines on the 1st floor.
- It's a good place to stop with your kids during a trip to Buan.

Saemangeum Reclamation National Museum is Korea's only museum specializing in land reclamation, located on Saemangeum-ro in Byeonsan-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do. It broadly covers the Saemangeum Reclamation Project, the history of land reclamation in Korea and around the world, and a variety of cultural heritage.
