Located at 178-35 Jinui-ro, Jinseong-myeon, Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education Science Education Institute (Jinseong Science Museum) is a hands-on science education space representing the southern coastal region. It is a place where toddlers, children, teens, and families can all enjoy exploring the world of science, with a wide range of programs and exhibits designed to help visitors discover natural history, humanity, space, and the principles of science in everyday life in an easy and fun way.

Main exhibits and hands-on spaces

1. Fossil Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall

   • The Jinju Gajin-ri bird footprints and dinosaur footprint fossils, designated as Natural Monument No. 395, are displayed in their original form.
   • Children can see dinosaur fossils from the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic era up close, making for a vivid journey into the past.

2. Science Experience Hall

   • The 1st and 2nd floors are filled with hands-on exhibits.
   • With activities that use touch, movement, light, sound, and other senses, the space sparks your kids' interest and curiosity.
   • Examples include an experiment where the sound changes depending on the height of water, observing a ball move along rails when you turn a handle, and a maze escape activity using magnets.

3. Natural History Hall and Insect Specimen Hall

   • You can explore the world of natural history and insects through a variety of specimens and exhibits.
   • There are also interactive corners such as a butterfly photo zone where children can take pictures and enjoy the experience.

4. Astronomy Experience Hall and Observatory

   • With a planetarium, 3D theater, and observatory, this area lets children feel the wonder of space and dream about the stars and the universe.

5. Other unique spaces

   • There are additional themed spaces such as the Dokdo Experience Hall and the Invention Education Center.
   • Around 30 types of activities make it a fun place for both children and adults.
