Located on the 1st floor of the Seoul Regional Tax Office at 86 Jong-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, National Tax Service Public Relations Hall is an educational and hands-on space where you can explore the history of taxation in Korea and the changes in national tax administration in an easy and engaging way. With a variety of exhibits and activity programs designed to help children and teens learn about taxes naturally, it is popular with families and student groups alike.

• The history of taxes and the story of the National Tax Service

  • You can see at a glance how taxation has changed from Gojoseon to modern times, along with the organization of the National Tax Service and the development of national tax administration.
  • A variety of exhibits help children understand the role taxes play in society in a simple way.

• Tax activities tailored for children and teens

  • Programs such as the Exciting Tax Class include participatory activities like watching videos, listening to guided explanations, taking tax true-or-false quizzes, and making a cash receipt card, so kids can learn by doing.
  • During special events, you may also enjoy extras such as face painting and instant photo sessions.

• Hands-on digital services such as Hometax

  • You can try the Hometax system directly and take part in activities like making a cash receipt card or a business registration certificate.

Visitor information

• Exhibits and activities require reservations

  • Exhibition programs with guided explanations and hands-on activities require advance reservations and are mainly operated for elementary, middle, and high school student groups.
  • Independent viewing is also available, but some programs require reservations.
  • Visits are not available on Saturdays, public holidays, and temporary closure days, so please check the schedule before you go.
  • For small family visits, limited participation may be available when there is no group reservation.

• Operating hours and transportation

  • Admission is free on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • It is also easy to reach within a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jonggak Station on Line 1, Exit 6 of Anguk Station on Line 3, or Exit 2 of Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5.
  • When visiting, parking is free for up to 2 hours. You need to receive a parking confirmation slip from the information desk.
