A place where your child becomes the main character in a fairy tale, Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village
Introduction
Located in Songwol-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village is a special alley village where the entire neighborhood is decorated like the world inside a storybook. As part of a residential environment improvement project in 2013, houses and alleyways throughout the village were designed around world-famous fairy tales and traditional Korean folk tales, making it one of Incheon's best family travel spots where visitors of all ages can relive childhood memories and a sense of wonder.
Main sights and experiences
11 themed alleyways
- There are 11 themed paths, including Dorothy Road, Little Red Riding Hood Road, Thumbelina Road, and Traditional Folk Tale Road. Each path is decorated with fairy tale characters and scenes through three-dimensional sculptures and murals.
- Utility poles are transformed into the giant beanstalk from Jack and the Beanstalk, and gas meters are styled like the Tin Woodman from The Wizard of Oz, sparking your kids' curiosity.
Trick Art Story
- This two-story indoor space features 39 three-dimensional trick art paintings, where the whole family can take photos together and make fun memories.
House of the Great Pine Tree, a children's play space
- This newly created play area for kids opened in 2023 and features nature-friendly pine tree themed structures, a giant slide, a mini zip line, and other play equipment.
- It was designed with your kids' safety as the top priority, including safety features and cushioned flooring.
Various hands-on programs
