Yeongdeok Wood Culture Experience Center is located inside Byeolparang Park at 204 Haemaji-gil, Yeongdeok-eup, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, making it a place where you can spend the day fully surrounded by rich nature and forest scenery. More than just an indoor and outdoor playground, this space offers a variety of woodcraft experiences and eco-friendly play areas where kids can get closer to wood and play creatively.

A variety of experiences and play facilities

1. First-floor woodcraft experience room

   • Children from elementary school age and older can participate.
   • Kids can touch wood directly and safely try making wooden crafts through simple activities such as sanding and hammering. There are various options, from basic projects to activities using machines.
   • You can choose from a range of items such as wood pens, magnets, and miniatures, so children of different ages and preferences can all enjoy the experience.

2. Second-floor wood play experience room

   • This spacious area features a variety of children's play facilities made from wood.
   • Kids can run and play while enjoying the pleasant scent of wood on the wooden slide, cube play area, and hinoki wood ball pit.
   • The second floor includes a pretend kitchen, mini trampoline, hinoki wood zone, ball pit, and slide, and it is designed as a space with many things for younger infants and toddlers to play with and ride on.

3. Outdoor space

   • Next to the glow-in-the-dark playground on the second floor, there is an outdoor terrace area where you can sit and rest.

Features of each space and operating information

• In the center, there is a rest area for adults, an unmanned coffee vending machine, and snacks for kids are also sold.
• Operating hours are 09:30 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday, and it is regularly closed on Mondays.
• Individual visitors can register on site. As of February 2024, only on-site registration is available without a reservation, and an online reservation system is being prepared.
