Wando-gun Marine Ecology Exhibition Hall is located at 1459 Cheonghaejin-ro, Wando-eup, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, in the Jang Bogo Historic Site area. Here, you and your child can enjoy a variety of exhibits and hands-on activities centered on Wando's clean marine environment. It is a space where your kids can learn about marine ecosystems in an easy and fun way while experiencing the value of nature together.

Exhibition hall layout and features

• The exhibition hall has 2 floors, and each floor and exhibition room covers different themes such as Wando's history, the marine environment, and marine life.
• On the 1st floor, you will find the lobby, special exhibition room, and experience room, where children can touch and try activities themselves.
• The ecology room on the 2nd floor has a trick art photo zone that is great for taking pictures.
• Inside the exhibition hall, colorful cushions, sofas, and a variety of hands-on content are prepared to keep children interested.
• There are many interactive elements your kids can enjoy directly, including a large digital aquarium, puzzles, rubbing activities, fishing, and abalone farming experiences.

• You can closely observe and learn about the diverse ecosystems and marine life of the Wando sea, including microalgae, large seaweeds, crustaceans, shellfish, and fish.

Visitor information

• Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 18:00, with ticket sales ending at 17:30
• Closed: Every Monday. If Monday is a public holiday, closed the following day. Also closed on January 1, Lunar New Year's Day, and Chuseok Day.
• Visit duration: About 30 minutes to 1 hour. It may take a bit longer if you look around carefully with your child.
• A spacious parking lot is available, making it convenient for family visits. Parking is free.

Admission fees and programs

• Adults (19 to 64 years): Individual - 2,000 won / Group - 1,600 won
• Teenagers and military or police personnel (13 to 18 years): Individual - 1,500 won / Group - 1,200 won
• Children (7 to 12 years): Individual - 1,000 won / Group - 800 won
