Cheongna Hill is a hill located at the Dongsan Christian Hospital housing site, 2029 Dalgubeol-daero, Jung-gu, Daegu. It is a special place where beautiful green ivy and historic Western-style buildings come together. It was once home to American missionaries, and even now you can find traces of modern history and a variety of cultural heritage throughout the area.

From here, you can also experience special paths leading to nearby cultural attractions such as the March 1st Independence Movement Path, the Traditional Culture Experience Center, and Gyesan Cathedral.

  On the hill, there are three missionary houses designated as Daegu Tangible Cultural Heritage sites: the Switz House, Chamness House, and Blair House. Each is used for missions, medical care, education, and a history museum, offering families an educational and unique sightseeing experience.

  This is the real setting of the famous art song "Thoughts of a Friend," which begins with the line, "When lilies bloom on Cheongna Hill where the symphony of spring resounds..." It offers a special chance to experience the background of the song with your child in person.

• Parking and getting around
  Parking is available at the Dongsan Medical Center parking lot for 800 won per 30 minutes, and 300 won for each additional 10 minutes after the first 30 minutes. If you park in the outdoor sections of Parking Lots 2 or 3, Cheongna Hill is about a 3-minute walk away.

• Other notes
  Parts of Cheongna Hill are currently under construction, so the area may feel a bit busy or unsettled. On weekdays, there may be more vehicle traffic due to hospital visitors. It is also quite close to Seomun Market, so visiting both together is recommended.
