Located at 517-24 Bupyeong-ri, Jinjeop-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Bupyeong Ecological Wetland is an ecological park set in the Gwangneung Forest Biosphere Reserve area, where Bongseonsa-cheon and Wangsuk-cheon meet. However, some convenience facilities are still under construction, so the area may feel a bit busy, though the walking trail is still accessible.
• Because there is a stream, it is also known for open-air camping, and you may see people camping near the entrance.
• There are walking paths and observation decks with wood chip ground cover so even young children can walk safely. The waterside deck trail has a gentle slope, making it easy for kids to walk, and it is also great as a trekking course.
• From the birdwatching platforms installed throughout the park, you can observe a variety of wild plants and animals. In spring and autumn, you can also enjoy seasonal scenery such as sulfur cosmos and reed fields.

• In navigation apps, it is better to search for Namyangju Odugyo Bridge rather than Bupyeong Ecological Wetland to be guided properly from the road to the wetland entrance. Vehicle access is restricted in some sections, so you will need to park nearby and walk in.
• There is a newly installed public restroom, and with the ecological playground, benches, and plenty of resting spaces, it is a nice place to explore slowly with young children.
