Park features and things to enjoy

• Jangpyeong Neighborhood Park is located on Jang-an Cherry Blossom Road in Jangan-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. It is an eco-friendly park with lush greenery and a variety of convenient facilities that you can enjoy in the middle of apartment complexes and the city.
• Inside the park, you will find wide walking paths, exercise equipment, a pavilion, a small plaza, and even a refreshing fountain in summer, making it a great place to stroll with your kids and enjoy nature.
• There is plenty of space where children can run around freely, and there is also a Toddler Forest Play Area where they can explore the woods and experience natural materials like soil, trees, and stones up close.
• The walls are decorated with paintings of the Ten Symbols of Longevity, making this a good place to naturally experience traditional Korean culture and have conversations with your kids.
• A rain garden was recently created, with various trees and shrubs such as elm and beautyberry, along with native herbaceous plants like primrose and asters. When it rains, the collected rainwater becomes a resting place for small birds and insects, adding ecological value.

Facilities and accessibility

• The park also has sports facilities including 3 tennis courts, making it a nice spot to enjoy light exercise or leisure activities with your child.
• The scenery is beautiful and the park is kept clean, so it is popular with visiting families.
• You can park at the Dongdaemun-gu Community Sports Center and then visit, and nearby spots such as the Jungnangcheon walking trail also make it easy to combine with another outing.
