Parenting Tips for Gangcheonsan County Park
- The flat area from the entrance to the old General Waterfall is stroller and wagon accessible.
- After the entrance (ticket office), there are no restrooms on the way to Gangcheonsa Temple, so it's better to visit the restroom first before departure.
- The nursing room is inside the women's restroom (separate building) at Parking Lot 1 where the ticket office is located.
- The slope is gentle and the water is shallow, making it an ideal spot for kids' valley water play.
- In the middle between the entrance and Gangcheonsa Temple, there's also a suitable valley for water play, but the restroom is far, so it's better to settle at the entrance-side valley for children's restroom visits.
- There's no shower facility, so it's recommended to bring outerwear or a blanket.
- Cooking, camping, tent, and sunshade setups are not allowed.
- Trash must be carried out on your own, but you can bring simple food to eat.
- Gangcheonsa Temple has a souvenir shop and cafe offering simple drinks and snacks.
- Starting June 15, 2024, night openings are operated every Saturday.
- Besides valley water play, there are various hiking, forest trail walking, and barefoot walking courses.
- If you've walked a lot, within a 2-minute drive, you can enjoy foot baths and spa at Gangcheon Healing Spa.
