- You can see the crape myrtle which is a protected tree over 270 years old with an elegant appearance and its pink flowers.
- If the main or side doors are locked, you can enter the Yukhudang building and say that you want to visit the Seowon, and they will open it for you.
- Across from the entrance, you can see the Jeongryeolgak, Hoyolgak, and Changryeolgak which are memorial stones for filial daughters-in-law and virtuous women from the Joseon Dynasty.
- There is Hwansungjeong, the pavilion of Lee Ju, who was an righteous army leader during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in the Daegu region.
- It's recommended to use mosquito repellent since there can be many mosquitoes in the summer.
- If you go to the left from the main gate of Seogye Seowon, there is a parking lot that can accommodate about 10 vehicles.
- The restroom is located inside the main gate of Seogye Seowon, to the right, in the building next to the protected tree, and it is unisex.
