- Although there are many beaches in Sokcho, Lighthouse Beach is accessible as it is close to Sokcho city center.
- It is relatively small with few facilities, but compared to nearby famous beaches, it is quiet, making it suitable for relaxing water play.
- Since the sand is rough, it is advisable to wear shoes like aqua shoes or Crocs. Instead, the sand doesn't stick much to the shoes, so it's easy to brush off the sand.
- On the sandy beach, there are places where you can rent various beach equipment such as tubes, life vests, snorkeling gear, and goggles.
