Located at 567 Iseo-ro, Iseo-myeon, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Cheongdo Museum is a family-friendly space where you and your child can explore the history and culture of Cheongdo in an easy and engaging way. The museum opened in December 2013 after remodeling a closed elementary school, and it features outdoor areas, a variety of exhibitions, and hands-on programs.

Guide to the main exhibition halls

• Archaeology and History Hall
  You will find representative artifacts from the time humans first lived in Cheongdo during the Neolithic period, including comb-pattern pottery, through the Three Kingdoms period, Goryeo, and Joseon.

• Folklore Hall
  Children can see and experience traditional household tools from the Cheongdo area, a model village school from the Joseon period, and farming-related artifacts, helping them understand how people lived in the past.

• Children's Experience Room and Special Exhibition Hall
  On the first floor, there is a hands-on space where visitors can enjoy craft activities such as traditional paper art, and seasonal special exhibitions offer new learning and fun for children.

• Sarakhyeon, a traditional Korean house space
  This multipurpose traditional Korean house space can be used for classes, performances, hands-on activities, and rest, offering a relaxing place to enjoy the charm of tradition.

• Hours: 09:00-18:00, last admission at 17:30
• Closed: Every Monday, January 1, and the day of Lunar New Year and Chuseok. If Monday is a public holiday, the museum closes on the next weekday.

2. Hands-on programs such as traditional paper crafts are usually held on the last Saturday of each month, so it is a good idea to ask in advance and make a reservation.
3. There are many pleasant walking spots around the museum with beautiful natural scenery, so it also works well as part of a family outing course.
