What is the Children's Environmental Ecology Education Center like?

Located inside Yongsan Children's Garden in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, the Children's Environmental Ecology Education Center is a special space where kids can learn the value of the environment and ecology through hands-on experiences. The experience course at the education center follows a story that naturally connects learning with action.

1. Introduction section (Prologue)
   • Your child creates their own ecologist character and begins an adventure to protect nature.
2. Coexistence Hall
   • You can watch an animated video showing the climate crisis, destruction of nature, and the process of nature recovering through everyone's efforts.
3. Action Hall
   • Kids can join various virtual reality (VR) and advanced technology games to experience the process of restoring the environment firsthand.
4. Future Hall
   • There is a special exhibition about Dr. Jane Goodall, a global figure in environmental conservation, along with a virtual conversation with the chimpanzee character Onsaemiro. Children naturally come to understand the meaning of small actions that begin with themselves.
5. Closing section (Epilogue)
   • The experience wraps up with an augmented reality (AR) photo with endangered animals and a completion certificate as an environmental ecology guardian.
