What is Jung-gu Education Support Center?

Jung-gu Education Support Center is a community education platform created together by the Jung-gu Office of Seoul, youth, local residents, parents, and community instructors. It supports a wide range of customized education, hands-on experiences, and community activities so visitors can build the creative skills and resilience needed for the future.

Key features

• Operates a variety of customized education and experience spaces, including an experience zone, craft classroom, board game area, performance hall, and library
• On Basement Level 1, there is a craft classroom that provides a variety of craft materials free of charge
• Anyone can use the center even if they do not live in Jung-gu, and space rental and event participation can be applied for in advance
• Offers a variety of programs throughout the year, along with themed classes by day of the week, such as traditional culture, art, and economics

1. Basement Level 2

   • Digital Playground
   • Activity Room
   • Band Room for instrument practice and band activities
   • Video Studio
   • VR Room
     This floor is designed for energetic youth activities and indoor leisure time.

2. Basement Level 1

   • Craft Classroom: free coloring available
   • Cafeteria
   • Education Welfare Center
   • Edu Library for on-site reading only, with about 10,000 books
   • Cooking Studio
   • Community and Conference Room
   • Meeting Room, Edu Cafe, and Coworking Space
     This floor is arranged to support a variety of hands-on, learning, cultural, rest, and gathering activities.

3. Level 1

   • Academic Counseling Center for career and admissions counseling
   • Education Information Lounge for sharing education information and community activities

4. Level 3

   • Youth Study Cafe
   • Youth Hangout
     These are cozy spaces well suited for small group study and relaxation.

Hours and visitor information

• Who can use it: Any youth and Jung-gu resident, with temporary closures possible after prior notice in special circumstances
• Hours: weekdays 09:00 to 22:00, weekends 09:00 to 22:00
• How to use it:
  • Space rental requests can be made online in advance or at the on-site information desk
  • For some spaces, if you apply for a program and do not attend, future applications may be restricted
  • Book borrowing is not available, but you are free to read within the library

Programs and activities

• Offers a wide range of experience spaces and programs, but program participation is available only to Jung-gu residents
• Provides seasonal special programs on weekends and during school breaks, along with customized education for various age groups
• Runs a variety of clubs and hands-on programs, including youth band, cooking, coding, VR, and video production

Things to keep in mind when visiting

• Please follow basic manners and rules so everyone can enjoy a pleasant and safe space, and avoid using facilities without applying in advance when required.
• For educational and community space rental or experience activity applications, please check the center website in advance.
• Depending on on-site conditions or other circumstances, access to some facilities may be limited.
