Parenting Tips for National Library of Korea

  • Wednesday Night Library is operated, so except for the Digital Library, you can use the facilities until 21:00.
  • An exhibition commentary program called K-Culture with Docent is available. It is highly recommended to join with your child.
  • K-Culture with Docent takes about 50 minutes for the explanation. There are quite a few media exhibits that can be experienced directly, so you can spend personal time after the explanation.
  • K-Culture with Docent requires advance reservation through the homepage. The poster shows the period until December 2024, but it is still continuing in 2025.
  • The Digital Library is located on Basement Level 3.
  • Please note that the second and fourth Monday of every month are regular closing days.
  • Please make sure your child does not talk too loudly.
  • Bags are not allowed inside the library, so please store your bag separately when attending the commentary.
