• No need to worry about bringing equipment: Fishing rods, bait, chairs, parasols, and all other gear, along with fishing lessons, are provided, so even first-time families and kids can join with ease.
• Meeting animals: You can see animals such as dogs, peacocks, and rabbits, so babies and toddlers can wait while watching the animals. However, pet dogs are not allowed.
• Convenience facilities: There is a snack shop where you can quickly buy light food and needed items such as snacks, drinks, and instant noodles. Grills are also available, so you can enjoy a camping-like atmosphere.
• Smelt fishing and sledding: In winter, you can enjoy not only smelt fishing but also ice sledding.

A Variety of Family Experiences

• You can have the smelt caught at the fishing site fried and eaten on the spot. If you bring 30 fish, they will fry them for 5,000 won.
• A gentle stray cat often wanders around the ticket booth, which kids love.
• The snack shop sells a variety of food including fried smelt, snacks, instant noodles, udon, gimbap, tteokbokki, and cheese sticks.
• If you join the Naver receipt review event, you can receive a warm drink or 1 skewered fish cake.
• If you visit Jeongwon Table, you can receive complimentary fried shrimp by showing your Gilsang Fishing Site admission wristband.

Visit Tips

• On weekends and holidays, there can be many visitors, so entry may close early. A morning visit is recommended.
• Be sure to bring suitable clothing and items for changing weather. In cold winter weather, it is a good idea to prepare a hat, mask, gloves, and hand warmers.
• Advance booking is not available, and entry is only possible on a first-come, first-served basis on site. The site may be closed even on ordinary days, so please check same-day business status on Naver before visiting.
