About the place

Located on the 3rd floor of G-Tower in Guro-gu, Seoul, Netmarble Game Museum is an interactive space where both kids and adults can experience the past, present, and future of games at a glance. Operated by the Netmarble Cultural Foundation, this venue features around 2,100 game-related items in its collection along with a variety of exhibitions and hands-on programs, helping visitors naturally discover the cultural value of games beyond simply playing them.

Main exhibitions and experiences

1. Game History

   • You can see rare items from Korea and abroad, including early console systems such as Odyssey, Apple II, Zemmix, and Game Boy, as well as around 1,300 PC game software titles from the 1970s to today.
   • True to its name as a game museum, you can also view recreated early video games such as Tennis for Two and Spacewar.
   • A special exhibition on the history of Korean PC games, organized by keywords and time periods, is also presented throughout the year.

2. Game World

   • You can explore the many elements that make up games, including the development process, characters, and music, and even create your own game character.
   • It is also a space where kids can build their dreams about the game industry through career-related learning and hands-on activities.

3. Game Culture

   • You can freely browse a variety of game books and digital materials, and learn about games from the basics to more advanced topics.
   • In the Play Collection corner, you can actually play classic arcade and console games such as Galaga, Bubble Bobble, and Tetris, and all of them are free with no time limit.
   • It is a great place to naturally connect with new friends and also works well for family visits.
