Located at 216 Chomakgol-gil, Gunpo-si, at the foot of Surisan Mountain, Chomakgol Ecology Exhibition Hall is a special place where you and your child can see, hear, touch, and learn about nature together. Set inside Chomakgol Ecological Park, it is a popular family outing spot where you can enjoy a walk, hands-on activities, and play all in one visit.

• Seasonal hands-on programs for all four seasons
  A variety of ecology programs are offered in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, so kids can experience the changes of nature firsthand. Activities include observing frogs and tadpoles, exploring insects, and learning about trees and flowers through all five senses.

• Ecology stories with a guide
  If you book in advance, you can explore the exhibition while listening to friendly explanations from a professional guide. With programs connected to videos, sounds, and play, children can better understand the wonders of nature and stay engaged.

• Five-senses experience zone and free exploration
  The five-senses experience zone, where children can touch things directly, listen to sounds, and solve quizzes, offers vivid learning opportunities. Kids can freely explore a variety of spaces, including activity sheets, mission stamps, outdoor photo zones, live sketches, and a hot air balloon video theater.

• Advance reservation system
  The hall operates 4 sessions per day: Session 1, 10:00 to 10:50; Session 2, 11:00 to 11:50; Session 3, 14:30 to 15:20; Session 4, 15:30 to 16:20. Reservations can be made through the Chomakgol Ecological Park website in Gunpo-si. Booking opens at 9:00 AM one month before your visit date.

• Admission fee
  Admission is free.

• Opening hours and closed days
  Open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. Closed on Mondays, January 1, Lunar New Year, and Chuseok.

• Location and accessibility
  It is easy to reach by public transportation or on foot, and family-friendly facilities such as parking, rest areas, and a cafe are well prepared. Parking costs 2,000 won on weekdays and 3,000 won on weekends. If the lot is full, you will need to park at Chomakgol Chorok Parking Lot 1 and walk down. Please note that the parking area is small.

Things to know before your visit

• Some spaces, including the activity room, five-senses experience zone, and video theater, are available only when participating in a program.
• Children in grade 3 and below must be accompanied by a guardian.
• New programs are added whenever the seasons change, so please check the official website before your visit.
• On public holidays, exhibition commentary and the five-senses experience zone are unavailable, and only self-guided experiences are offered.
