Jeju 4.3 Children's Experience Center is a special space for children located inside Jeju 4.3 Peace Park. A variety of hands-on activities and educational programs are available so children can naturally understand the historical meaning of the Jeju 4.3 Incident, learn the values of peace, human rights, and democracy, and grow emotionally.

• Permanent experience programs

  • Sand animation theater: Children can watch animation videos made with sand and easily understand the message of Jeju 4.3 and peace.
  • Illustrated diary based on the true story of 8-year-old Lim Du-hong: Children can indirectly experience Jeju 4.3 through a child's perspective.
  • Writing remembrance letters: Children learn empathy and comfort by writing letters to other children who lost their lives in Jeju 4.3.

  • Creative activity kits such as pop-up cards and coloring cards are offered with themes that change by season and topic.

Space Layout and Features

• There is a hands-on zone with safe cushioned structures where children can build a bangsatap tower themselves and play inside it.
• Creative and participatory activities are prepared, including wall ball rolling, building words about peace, and cooperative activities with friends.
• At the "4.3 Mailbox" corner, children can send the letters they write and enjoy a remembrance video experience where the letters are lifted into the sky on screen.
