Orbit Library is located at 314 Dongducheon-ro, Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is a creative multi-purpose cultural space for local teens, children, and families. The library's name, "Orbit," carries the meaning of "rising light," reflecting the hope that children's limitless potential and dreams will continue to grow.

Floor Guide and Key Features

1. 4th Floor: A World of Hands-On Fun and Play for Children

   • This floor is divided into a children's reading room, toddler zone, and children's experience zone, so kids of different ages can enjoy reading comfortably.
   • There is Luka, a book-reading robot, and Chloe, an AI robot, so children can listen to picture books or easily search for books.
   • You'll also find interactive spaces that spark children's curiosity, including an augmented reality storybook experience and a digital gallery.

2. 5th Floor: A General Reading Room Full of New Experiences

   • The general reading room is open to everyone from children to adults, so families can enjoy reading together.
   • There is a 3D story experience zone and a VR experience zone where visitors can enjoy immersive story and sports experiences using advanced IT technology.
   • You can also relax comfortably in the pleasant lounge area.

3. 6th Floor: A Space for Creativity and Connection for Teens

   • With a well-stocked teen collection, a webtoon zone, coding class space, board games, and club rooms, teens can enjoy a variety of activities with their friends.
   • In the smart sports zone, they can also enjoy physical activities such as climbing, rowing machines, and dance.
   • Reading and cultural events are held regularly in the seminar room.

  • 6th floor teen reading room: Monday-Thursday 09:00 - 21:00 / Saturday-Sunday 09:00 - 18:00
• Closed: Every Friday, public holidays, and temporary closure days depending on library circumstances

How to Use the Library and Transportation

• You can easily register for membership with a guardian's ID or a student ID.
• It is a 7-20 minute walk from Bosan Station or Dongducheon Jungang Station on Subway Line 1, and several bus routes also stop near the library, making it very easy to reach.
• For visitor convenience, the library is equipped with up-to-date systems including an automated return machine, laptop rental, and a reserved book pickup machine.
